Young Learners

Children from 8 to 12 years old

For us Young Learners are children from 8 to 12 years old.  All of our classes have a focus on oral comprehension and expression and with our Young Learners we  spend a lot of time in class telling stories and doing activities which encourage the students to practise their English as much as possible.

We have classes for four different age groups for Young Learners and in levels 1, 2 and 3 we prepare students for the Cambridge ESOL Young Learner Exams, Starters, Movers and Flyers.  Our Young Learner classes last 60 minutes.  Starting from 15:30, we have classes every hour.  Most of our students come to Tick It English twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays.  For those who can only come once a week, we run classes on Fridays.
